Howard County Names First Pedestrian/Bicycle Planning Manager

ELLICOTT CITY, MD – Howard County Executive Ken Ulman announced today that Chris Eatough, a champion mountain biker, engineer and transportation planner, will become Howard County’s first Pedestrian and Bicycle Planning Manager.

Eatough, a Howard County resident, is filling a position created by Executive Ulman and called for by transportation advocates to improve walkability and bicycle accessibility in the County. He will be responsible, in part, for helping Howard County implement its BikeHoward and WalkHoward plans. He currently works to manage bicycle accessibility in Arlington County, Virginia.
