Please join us for the 6th Annual TOUR DE FREDERICK to be held August 14-16, 2015. All proceeds will benefit Boys & Girls Club of Frederick County. This event offers cycling enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels unique routes that showcase the beauty of Frederick County, emphasizes our county’s rich history and fosters camaraderie among riders. This event has grown dramatically since its inception and over 500 participants are expected this year. When you ride the TOUR DE FREDERICK, you are supporting Boys & Girls Club of Frederick County!
Our local Boys & Girls Club, whose mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens, serves over 200 at-risk children in the Frederick Community. Through after school and summer programs ; Power Hour (homework assistance), ClubRiders (bicycle safety and training), SMART Moves (dealing with peer pressure), NetSmartz (internet safety), and Torch Club (leadership development) the Club provides a fun and safe environment for our children.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
2:00 pm — Frederick History Loop, 8 miles (plan for 2 hour ride)**
Included with 1 or 2 day registrations; please arrive at 1:30 pm to sign waiver4:00 pm – 7:00 pm — Registration, Delaplaine Center, 40 S. Carroll Street
Light refreshments will be provided with the opportunity to mingle with fellow participants, BGCFC staff and volunteers.
5:30 am – 10:30 am — Registration, Delaplaine Center, 40 S. Carroll Street6:30 am — Heine Family Century Ride, 101 miles**
7:00 am — Metric Century Ride, 64 miles**
8:00 am — Club Riders Ride, 36 miles**
10:30 am — Family Ride, 10 miles**
11:30 am – 4:00 pm — Finish Line Party, outdoors under the tent @ Delaplaine Center,
40 S. Carroll Street
2:00 pm — Short program at finish line party to recognize sponsors, BGCFC Club Riders and teams
4:30 pm — Frederick Clustered Spires High Wheel Race — begins and ends at Brewer’s Alley,

Delaplaine Center, 40 S. Carroll Street
8:00 am — Covered Bridges Ride, 36 miles
Begins and ends at Utica District Park, 10200-B Old Frederick Road
