Salisbury Bicycle Friendly Business Workshop

Date: Monday, September 29
Time: 6:30pm - 8:30pm
Location: Henson Science Hall
Address: 1101 Camden Ave, Salisbury, MD
Learn how to make your place of work a bicycle friendly business at the Bike Maryland and Bike-SBY Salisbury Bicycle Friendly Workshop.

Salisbury, Maryland is rapidly becoming more and more bikeable.  With the creation of the Salisbury Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee, increased infrastructure, and an active bicycling advocacy group in Bike-SBY, Salisbury is on its way of becoming a Bicycle Friendly Community.  But even still, there are no Bicycle Friendly Businesses on the Eastern Shore despite the rise of bicycling in the region.  Being a bicycle friendly business has important benefits in terms of employee attraction and retention, moral, and servicing your customers.  As an added benefit, more businesses that are bike friendly in a community increases its status as a Bicycle Friendly Community.

Please join Bike Maryland and Bike-SBY as we teach you what it means to be a Bicycle Friendly Business and how you as an interested employee or business owner can apply and win recognition as a Bicycle Friendly Business.  This is a FREE event thanks to the support of the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore!

Please register at Bike-SBY.
