On Tuesday, February 17th, from 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Bike Maryland will once again assemble influential members of our transportation, safety and recreation community for The Annual Bike Symposium at Annapolis City Hall.
To promote and present this high-profile, one day event where we will discuss our shared priorities and explore collective action in the year ahead. Year-round sponsorship and support opportunities are also available. More info here
We will gather at the Miller Senate Office Building in Annapolis, 11 Bladen St, Annapolis, MD 21401 in the main hall to review Bike Maryland’s and other pro-bicycling advocates legislative agendas for the 2026 Session and hear from state elected and state agency officials, as well as special guest speakers who will add informed perspective to upcoming legislation, while we socialize, drink coffee, and eat pastries; then we will walk to the Maryland State House for meetings with representatives in Delegate and Senate offices from 12-1:30pm.
This year, we’ve room for 300 attendees – and plans to share pre- and post-event updates with our 16,000 active contacts. Our goal is to visibly grow, sustain and motivate the pro-bicycling constituency in our neighborhoods, our state, our country and our world.
These are neither the best of times, nor the worst of times, but the 2026 Maryland Legislative Session is tasked with addressing a $1.4 billion higher-than-anticipated budget deficit. However, the economic, environmental and quality of life payoffs of bicycling are far too great to be left out of deficit and post-deficit funding decisions.
Your voice for statewide bicycling safety, accessibility, physical and mental health improvement, and enjoyment.
We ask you to review Bike Maryland’s sponsor/supporter opportunities (starting at $125)
