Senator Simonaire of Anne Arundel has legislation for a “yellow alert” hit-and-run system. Testimony will be taken Wednesday, February 4th. If you are interested in testifying on this legislation, please contact Kara Contino, Senator Simonaire’s legislative aide. He also has legislation to increase the penalty for leaving the scene of an accident resulting in a fatality or bodily injury from 10 years to 15 years.
