2024 Bike Maryland Symposium

The Bike Maryland Symposium is a day in Annapolis where you can network with like-minded Maryland cyclists and advocates and your Maryland legislator to discuss Maryland cycling issues that matter to you

We will gather at the Annapolis City Hall, 160 Duke of Gloucester Street in the main hall.  We will drink coffee, eat pastries, listen to State officials, review our advocacy plans for the 2024 session, and hear from the Bike Maryland leadership about the revitalized organization.

Symposium attendees will then walk to the Maryland State House and meet with Senators, Delegates and their staff to talk about our advocacy asks.

An optional lunch will then take place at Market House at 1:30pm

Please plan on coming to Annapolis on February 15.

 Registration is REQUIRED and  FREE

Registration is closed, we have reached the maximum number of registrations (we are limited by the size of the venue)

 

Coffee and breakfast snacks are provided by the Big Bean coffee shop, thank you!

Parking

Downtown Annapolis is crowded during the Maryland legislative session and the nearby Hillman Garage adjacent to Annapolis City Hall is open but may fill up.   Payment is made by a phone app.  You might consider parking outside the downtown area and walking or biking to Annapolis City Hall.

Lunch

We encourage you to join us for an optional lunch gathering following the legislative meeting

Lunch will be at 1:30 pm at Market House 25 Market Space,City Dock, Annapolis. From State Circle, walk down Cornhill St. to Market House.

There will be a seating area reserved for Bike Maryland attendees and you can select, order and pay for your food and drink as you arrive.   This gathering will provide time to network with other attendees and to debrief on the legislative meetings.
