The Side by Side Ride features 40-mile, 20-mile and 10-mile loops, starting at 8 a.m. for the 40-miler, 9 a.m. for the 20-miler and 9:30 for the 10-miler. The event benefits a Laurel nonprofit that strengthens local elementary schools. $25 fee pays for a performance T-shirt; sponsor donations encouraged.
