Howard County Biketoberfest

Howard County Biketoberfest Cross is held on the grounds of the Howard County Living Farm Heritage Museum, this is an active farm as well as museum. The course runs over tar and chip road, grass sections, skirts planted fields and flows through the woods. Most of the course is contained within a unique natural bowl-shaped amphitheater which provides a unprecedented spectator experience.

Your fans can watch the action from the Oktberfest Biergarten or any of the elevated vantage points, ringing the cowbell with one hand and toasting a beer with the other.

Regardless of weather, the course is challenging. This is no “grass crit,” but instead a homage to rural roots of cyclocross with lots of vertical change over technical terrain.

Howard County Biketoberfest benefits The Colleen and Erin Marlatt Scholarship Fund, which was established in 2002 to preserve the memory of two remarkable young Catholic women.
