“The Mayor and City Council, in conjunction with the Susquehanna River Rail Bridge Project Advisory Board an…d the Havre de Grace Planning Commission, cordially invite you to a community briefing and input session on Thursday, March 26th from 6 to 9 PM at the Havre de Grace Community Center located at 100 Lagaret Drive in Havre de Grace. The purposes of this open house session are to further inform the public about the proposed railroad bridge replacement project, gather detailed input and suggestions from the community, and discuss the various Advisory Board recommendations that have been issued to date through its Advisory Bulletins.
The Susquehanna River Amtrak Bridge replacement project has the potential to change the face of Havre de Grace and the Town of Perryville in very profound ways. Our local advisory board is providing meaningful recommendations to the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) and to the SRRBP Project Team during this evaluation and early design phase.
Please join us at this open house to gain a better understanding of this project and to help craft our vision of the bridge as it relates to the future of our municipalities and our beautiful river.”
