The 2014 Frederick Clustered Spires Race will be on Saturday, August 16th in historic downtown Frederick. The race will be held in conjunction with the 5th Annual Tour de Frederick. Come celebrate the love of bicycles in Frederick, MD!

SOME EVENT HIGHLIGHTS —
FRIDAY AUGUST 15TH
* “Meet the Racers” Event – The public is invited to meet some of the racers at Westview Promenade from 6-7pm, live music, bike demos
SATURDAY AUGUST 16TH
* Enjoy a live performance by the Frederick Catoctones (an awesome local barbershop chorus) while the racers form a “penny stack” (a self-supporting line of their high wheel bicycles) before the race begins on Market Street
* Step back into time by enjoying an impressive display of antique bicycles in front of Frederick’s City Hall, with the Blue Crescent Syncopators performing roaring 20s music
* Event t-shirts can be purchased at Da Black Cat, 121 N. Market St
