Dayton Rural Preservation Society Community Meeting

Date: Monday, April 28
Time: 7:00pm - 9:00pm
Location: Ten Oaks Ballroom
Address: 5000 Signal Bell Ln, Clarksville, Maryland

Monday, April 28 at 7pm in the Ten Oaks Ballroom. 5000 Signal Bell Ln, Clarksville. Presenting a community meeting hosted by Dayton Rural Preservation Society (DRPS) where they will give an update on what has been happening and you will be able to hear from local politicians including Allan Kittleman, Greg Fox and others. The hope is for a packed room with 500+ people to show support and request resolve. DRPS is fighting on your behalf to keep hundreds of huge trucks off our rural roads that we all share in and around Howard County’s Ag Preserve Farmlands.

Commercial businessmen are working to bring industrial Mulching facilities to Ag Preserve land that was intended to be “farmland forever” under the County’s program. One example is in Dayton where many of you ride on Greenbridge Rd and Ten Oaks Rd. They have estimated that up to 50 trucks a day, 6 days a week traveling up and down our narrow, no shoulder, country roads.

Another meeting is being held on Monday May 19, at 7 PM we will be presenting our argument in front of the County Council at the Ellicott City Courthouse, George Howard Building, 3430 Court House Dr, Ellicott City. Goal is 1000 attendees. Bring your family and join us at both of these very important events. For more information please visit here.
