Cumberland Valley Century

Date: Saturday, August 6
Time: All Day

From the Cumberland Valley Cycling Club:

This is our 30th year of hosting this beautiful, low traffic ride through the gently rolling hills of historic Washington County Maryland.

It’s closer than you think too! A quick, easy drive (1 to 1 1/2 hours) from points in Washington and Baltimore! The start location is at San Mar Children’s Home in Boonsboro, MD.

Our ride format loops through our main rest stop at the start finish. You have the freedom of enoying our EPIC lunch mid-way or at the finish of your century or metric ride. The century loops back through the start /finish rest stop at 69 miles. The metric loops back through the start/finish rest stop at 46 miles.

The majority of proceeds benefit San Mar Children’s home.

We are limiting the event to 1000 riders, so register early! You’ll also save money by registering early. Register before 7/30  and save $10 per person; after this time the event price goes up to the “same day” price of $65. Event day registration on site for the Century and Metric is $65 and $50 for the quarter century and ten mile ride.

Registration is open from 7 am to 9 am. This year we are doing a staggered start.

7:00 – 8:30 – cenury riders may start

7:30-9:00 – metric riders may start

9:30-10:30 – 25 & 10 mile riders may start. Group lead rides leave at 9:30

The route and support close at 5 pm.
