Brunswick Bicycle Festival

Come out to the 3rd annual Brunswick Bicycle Festival and enjoy a day of fun filled activities for cyclists of all ages and abilities! For the more daring, join the new Adventure Race and paddle a kayak on the scenic Potomac River to Lander, run back the C&O Canal Towpath to Railroad Square in Brunswick, and then ride a bike loop through a designated trail on Brunswick city streets finishing at Railroad Square.

The “Uphill Climb Against Time” will start at 12PM with registration beginning at 11:30AM. The race begins at the City Park Building and riders will head up the notorious “Deadman’s Curve”.

A C&O Canal Family Ride will begin at Railroad Square and continue to Lander and back, about 9 miles. While at Lander tour the historic Lock House and learn the history of the Catoctin Aqueduct. Snacks and water will be provided at no cost to take along on the ride. Bring your own bikes or bike rental is available through River and Trail Outfitters at Railroad Square.

A Bike Rodeo for children will be held at 11AM for children along with plenty of activities and crafts throughout the event. River and Trail Outfitters will provide a Rock Wall and the Boy Scouts Troop 277 will provide climbing lines and other fun activities.

There will be live music throughout the event. Food and drink will be available.
